I've been wanting to run some different wads with them. provided you know what the variable names are. Looking for older Gzdoom dev builds by Quake161 Sat 8:24 pm I've checked the parent directories and DRD builds (even though I can't seem to get registered with them for some reason) and I cannot seem to find the older dev builds. Oh, and you can still edit the ini file you are using with a text editor to set the value for the amount of blood and janitor settings, etc. Your options are go back to an earlier GZDoom version (whether that be stable or a dev build), wait for BDv21 (which is currently due for open beta by the end of this month, and full release planned for end of November) or edit the mod yourself to fix the error (the MENUDEFS needs altering to specify a new options menu). I think it's because BD is trying to edit the standard menus rather than creating its own, and during the dev builds of 3.2 the GZDoom author made it so that editing the standard menus is no longer allowed. HOW THE HELL DO I FIX THIS?! I just responded in the Brutal Doom thread. The blood amount is stuck on a shitty setting and the Brutal Doom Options submenu from older GZ Doom builds is gone. I cannot use the old build because my AV keeps removing it despite the scans showing it's safe. 2.6 Gentoo 2.7 PCLinuxOS 2.8 Solus 3 Compile ZMusic 4 Create gzdoombuild directory 5 Download and prepare the source 6 Download FMOD 7 Compiling 7.1 Latest stable version 7.2 GZDoom 1.8.6 8 Backup 9 Updating 10 Installation 10.1 Uninstallation 11 Developing 11.1 Debugging 11. However, the blood in Brutal Doom when running in this version sucks and I can't find the Brutal Doom Options menu to fix it.ĮDIT: I've looked everywhere and it certainly is not there. I am forced to use this one because my AV software began constantly attacking and disabling the old build the past week, presumably after a recent update, but the up to date one is left in peace. when running Brutal Doom via the most up to date version of GZ Doom. We saw similar results testing with the Unreal Engine repository, reducing the total load time down from 117 seconds to 19 seconds. Darkredshift: Unless I'm just not looking in the right place, I cannot find the Brutal Doom options including blood amount etc. Using Chromium as an example large repository, we saw the initial solution load decrease by 75 using pre-generated caches for Dev Box.
